Good value for money, with clean rooms and good service. The hot water takes a little while to come through, but works well once it does. The bed may be a bit narrow for two people. Dogs are allowed and the staff are very friendly. There aren’t any shops or ATMs nearby, though they do accept cards. Public parking spots are easy to find.

Make sure you find out which place you’re actually staying at, Valusilla or Otto's tavern. I can’t speak to the first one, but Otto's tavern was a tiny, completely unremarkable room for two, with an equally awful bathroom. There were no real amenities, just a bar like any other. €90 for half-board is outrageous. The room photos are from Valusilla, so be clear about what to expect.

The staff were incredibly friendly, and the website makes it clear that you can choose the accommodation you prefer. This is a magical, charming little village and a marvel of a rural place. It’s incomparable to city accommodation, thank goodness. I hope more places like this stay open for people who know how to appreciate and enjoy them. We’ll be back. Thank you!

We had a fantastic weekend. The food was delicious and homemade, everything was very clean, and the staff were attentive. The surrounding area is beautiful. Highly recommended.

The manager is a very friendly person. It’s a great place for a getaway or to stay while hiking the Camino Lebaniego.
