eó Suite Hotel Jardin Dorado

We were there for more than a week, and the staff stayed kind, attentive, and helpful the whole time. The room supplies weren’t great, especially the uncomfortable, low-quality sofa beds. Parking was available, though the area was untidy and the ground uneven, and the pool water was quite cold.

We were happy with our choice. It’s a very peaceful, quiet place, and being somewhere isolated suited us since we weren’t looking to go out or do much. There isn’t much to walk around nearby. Every meal at the restaurant was good, with plenty of choice, and the staff were polite and helpful. Some evenings had a little entertainment, usually a man singing and playing keyboard.

There really isn’t anything around the hotel, no shops, restaurants, or attractions, and the location was awful. The breakfast was disappointing too, with low-quality food that wasn’t worth the time or money. In the room, the pillows were uncomfortable and cheap-feeling, and there was no kettle, tea, coffee, or even free water. The room itself looked cheaply furnished and poorly kept. This was one of the worst hotels I’ve stayed in. I can’t think of anything good about it. Try it yourself if you want, but don’t say you weren’t warned.

The place is quiet, with palm trees and birds around it, and the pool area is nice. Staff were friendly and helpful. Still, it didn’t feel like good value for money or a good fit for families. Our room was a long way from both the entrance and pool, which was hard with a stroller, and the door needed an eight-digit PIN plus two special characters. We also found cockroaches in the room. Breakfast was identical every day, and one morning there weren’t any clean plates or cups. Wearing a wristband throughout the stay felt unnecessary. Topless women at the pool made us uncomfortable as a family, and this hadn’t been mentioned anywhere. Pool towels required a deposit, as did games like ping-pong and billiards, while the babyfoot table was broken.
