The staff were all so friendly and helpful, and the rooms were spotless. There's a huge terrace with a gorgeous view, and if anything breaks, they fix it right away. It's a calm, pleasant place, with the sea about a 20-minute walk away. In summer, the steep roads would be very hot to climb, though the walk is lovely in winter. The room gets cold in winter and the air conditioner can't keep up, but that didn't surprise us since winter prices are very low. We thought the hotel and the place itself were great, and off-season prices were the best.

A clean apartment with dishes for cooking, in a quiet, pretty spot that was nice for relaxing. The downsides: it gets cold in winter and there's no heating; the hotel sits on a hill and the shops are far away. Sound carries through the walls, so we could hear the neighbors, and reception is only open at set times.
