We had a really lovely weekend as a family, and the house itself was great for both the adults and the kids. The low rating is about what happened with the owner, not the house. She asked us to call on Sunday when we were ready to leave, but we couldn't get through for about an hour, which held up our departure. A week later, after noticing our deposit hadn't been returned, we got in touch. She said she was keeping part of it because we'd broken a toilet brush holder. We only spotted the damage as we were leaving since there are several bathrooms and it wasn't the one we used much. I think she should have contacted us once she found it, though I understand why she kept some of the deposit rather than all of it. We stay in rural houses often, and this has never happened to us before. We did eventually get the deposit back. I'd suggest checking everything in the house carefully to avoid an unpleasant experience.

There are several country walks nearby, and a safari zoo is only 10 minutes away. The pool is much larger than it appears in the photos. We had a great family weekend, loved the house, and found it well maintained. We'd definitely come back!

The spa was a real highlight for us, especially getting to unwind in that wonderful Jacuzzi. The owner was very attentive and helped with everything we needed. The house and its surroundings were both lovely, and the city is 8 kilometers away. We'll be back!

The house is spacious and nice, right in the center of town. We stayed four days, though after our six-hour trip we were told the spa was closed for the holidays because it might get damaged. That really should have been mentioned in advance. The place was a bit dirty and needs some work, with peeling walls and ceilings. Also, one room had four bunk beds, and it made a lot of noise whenever anyone moved around.

The terrace, pool, and barbecue were wonderful, and the bathrooms were great too. We were ten friends and had a fantastic time. The bedrooms were tidy and very spacious, and there was plenty of room in the kitchen and living room. I'd definitely return!
