Camping Buenavista in Perlora

The facilities were clean, with a large area for washing clothes and dishes, and there’s a big car park if your vehicle won’t fit in your pitch. The pitches felt small and the campsite cramped. We were lower down and had no view, though the upper pitches probably have nice ones. Its main draw is the beach right nearby. There’s also a large cafeteria and a handy supermarket. You hear the nearby train tracks now and then. If you want to stay close to the beach, it’s a nice choice, but it may not suit you if you’re looking for a nature campsite.

There’s lots of green space and some really nice beaches close by. It’s a pleasant place to stop on a road trip or stay for a few days, though the ground is quite steep, so take care.

The beach is just a five-minute walk through the back gate. We were very happy here, and it felt like a lovely place for families. The bathrooms were spacious and spotless, with soap, paper and hooks.

The view was nice, but without a car pitch, putting up a tent means being ready to sleep on a slope. During our week there, the shower water was cold except for twice.
