Los Candiles

We’d happily come back. The service was great, and the quiet village gave us a peaceful base close to the busier tourist spots. The house is cozy and has an outdoor area with a barbecue. Just be aware that the low ceilings in this penthouse may be awkward if you’re tall. Parking can be tricky, though there’s usually a space somewhere in the small village.

There’s plenty of room to park right outside, and the garden has lovely mountain views, with greenery all around. It’s spacious and comfortable, with tables, chairs, and two barbecues. The village is tiny and very quiet, with few neighbors, so it works well for a getaway with friends or a bachelor or bachelorette party. Arriondas is only 10 minutes away, which makes it a handy base for the Sella River Descent.

That bed was incredibly comfortable, and the house was spotless, nicely decorated, and had everything we needed. My partner and I found it a great base for exploring eastern Asturias. The woman who welcomed us gave us tips on places to visit and eat, which we really appreciated. I’d definitely return.

Kety was so warm and attentive, and the rural house itself was really cozy. There are two good restaurants about five minutes away. The first drop-off is across from the village crossroads. Very good.
