We stayed for two nights while touring northern Spain and had a lovely time. It's a gem if you're visiting the area, and easy to recommend. The hotel isn't claiming to be a five-star luxury place; the rooms are a bit old-fashioned, but perfectly clean and had everything we wanted, including a comfortable bed, en-suite bathroom, plenty of space, and a balcony overlooking the valley. Breakfast was simple but good quality and more than we could eat: toast, pastries, jam, tomato and olive oil, fresh orange juice, and coffee, served by a friendly woman. The evening meals were excellent, mostly traditional local dishes, with good wines and very fair prices. The owner, I think, was an amiable and helpful man who served us.

The restaurant served very high-quality food. The host was extremely friendly, and the place was peaceful and quiet. It felt like a calm oasis along our route, and we felt completely welcome. We'd gladly stay here again and again.

The food was gorgeous, and breakfast kept us full. The location is excellent and everyone was really friendly. I had some trouble plugging in my charger in the bedroom, but that was a minor issue. Definitely recommend it, and I'd absolutely stay again.

The restaurant is superb, and I'd love to eat here regularly. The food is so good, I can imagine this kitchen earning lots of Michelin stars in a major city. The hosts are friendly and helpful, and the rooms are excellent. It’s a little out in the country, but only [distance missing] from Potes, and well worth the journey. A wonderful hotel, highly recommended.
