Centric Sagrada Familia Apartments

There's plenty of space in this apartment, and it came with lots of useful things, including cutlery, an iron and a hair dryer. It's good value for the money, and the location is great, close to the metro and bakeries. The sink is tiny, though, the beds are quite uncomfortable and the lift is small. There's only one mirror, which makes it hard for a group of women to get ready.

The room was tidy and everyone was accommodating. I especially want to thank Cris and the other guy who's usually working at night and around dawn. They gave great service from check-in through checkout. The location is a big plus too, near the shops, restaurants and tourist spots, especially the Sagrada Familia church. Really recommendable.

The apartments were disgustingly dirty, with bedbugs on the bed. If you don't want to end up in hospital, don't go here. The service was poor and the staff's attitude was unwelcoming. I had problems and the hotel seemed indifferent to guest satisfaction instead of trying to resolve them. I also had an extremely negative experience with the receptionist's rude and racist behavior. Being left stranded outside my room in the middle of the night was a serious service failure, and it's disappointing the hotel didn't take immediate corrective action. These issues affected my well-being, safety and satisfaction during the stay. I'd strongly advise people to consider somewhere else for a less stressful experience.

The apartment had no hot water, only cold, during our stay from 6 to 8 April. It was awful spending three days as a tourist in Barcelona without being able to shower and clean yourself. The location is central and there's a nice view of the Sagrada Familia, but that didn't make up for it. We contacted management straight away. They said a technician would come on the first day to fix the warm-water problem, but nobody came. Then they said someone would come the second morning, and nobody came then either. They said it would be fixed on the last day, but again no one showed up. Previous reviews seem to suggest heating problems are common. I don't know whether management can't fix the issue or simply doesn't care, but neither possibility is good. The email address they give for questions or complaints is no use either. So if cold showers are fine with you and you can bring your own toilet paper, this place is okay. Otherwise, stay away. I'm sorry to have to write this, but management's attitude leaves me no choice. I'm attaching proof because I expect the morally dishonest management will call this review fake.
