The landlady was very friendly and helpful. Still, the house was dirty, with cobwebs everywhere and no sweeping under the beds. The bathrooms looked clean but smelled strongly of sewage. The pool water was dirty too, and the yellow marks it left on our swimsuits wouldn’t come out. The furniture in many photos is no longer there, and what’s in the house now is older than the pictures suggest.

We found it peaceful and pleasant, with plenty of room to spread out. There are four double bedrooms, two of them with double beds, three bathrooms including one with a hydromassage shower, and a separate toilet. The small pool is nice for relaxing. The owner was attentive and very friendly. Good value, and I’d recommend it.

The house is beautiful, which makes it a shame that it seems so poorly managed. We rented it every other weekend for nearly nine months, and things started out well, but problems kept coming up and never got sorted. The boiler repeatedly broke, leaving us without heating, and the power kept going out. It was always dirty, and once, despite the five of us using all the rooms, another couple was brought in without any warning.

I get to stay here every other weekend, and it’s been nothing but positive. Everything is looked after so carefully, and the staff make you feel incredibly welcome. A 10 out of 10, definitely recommended.

The owners are so friendly, and it’s a clean, roomy place that worked perfectly for a family weekend. The pool is small, but nice and refreshing.
