Camping El Camell

Rolling hills on one side and the sea on the other make this place feel like paradise. The owner and reception staff were great. Absolutely fantastic, a must!

Be careful if you plan to stay here, and read the limited information they give you closely. I felt the site did not meet current safety and hygiene rules and was not accessible for people with disabilities. There also weren’t suitable activities for different age groups. The pool water, I was told, hadn’t been changed in five years, and the treatment system was only switched on when needed. Evening activities ran from July 6 to August 15. Security seemed inadequate, and the campsite took no responsibility for incidents. The contract also had unfair clauses that only became clear after signing. I’d avoid speaking to or crossing paths with the people who say they own the place, Xabi and Jaume. They act as if they’re above the law, say it’s their house and their rules when there’s a problem, and change internal rules without warning campers. They tried to deceive me, and when I disagreed or stood up for my rights, they kicked me out. They also commit fraud, which I can prove. A lawsuit was to be filed against them on Monday for misappropriation through deception, racism, and the safety issues mentioned above. They speak like nightclub bouncers, and if you tell them the truth or prove your point, they throw you out and make a scene to intimidate other campers. It felt more like a dictatorship than a campsite. That’s the gist of it. Be careful if you go.
