Our September round-trip got off to a lovely start here. The village is quaint and authentic, close to a reservoir, with beautiful walks and good-value restaurants. Granada, the coast and Sierra Nevada are all within reach. The owners are so kind, and there’s a courtyard and roof terrace that are great for unwinding. We found plenty of free parking about a minute away on foot.

Hillie and Danny made us feel so welcome and were always ready to help with whatever we needed. I loved the cozy room and the delicious, carefully prepared breakfast each morning. It’s a lovely place to slow down in a pretty village, about a 30-minute drive from Granada and the neighbouring Sierra Nevada national park. I had a wonderful stay.

We visited in May 2025 and would happily come back. Denny and Hillie were fantastic hosts, sharing useful tips about the village and things to do, and going out of their way to make our stay special. The immaculate room was well presented, and the clean pool was ready whenever we wanted to use it. The property felt really quiet and private. We enjoyed the complimentary wine and small tapas board by the pool when we arrived. Around the village, we saw plenty of walking and cycling tours, and the local bar, the only one there, serves food and drinks all day. A relaxing break with excellent hosts.

The owners are so kind, and the place was spotless and felt like home. I loved the blend of traditional touches and contemporary style. The studio apartment was much more spacious than I expected, fully equipped, and laid out with care and attention to detail. The location worked perfectly for our plans to visit the Alhambra, Granada and the beach, each about 30 minutes away. We’ll definitely come back. Thank you, and I hope you keep it just as it is.

The location gives you a chance to enjoy a peaceful, characterful village away from the tourist crowds, with lovely surroundings and a real Spanish atmosphere. We found the stay excellent value, and the rooftop patio has beautiful mountain views. The pool was a comfortable temperature, with sun and shade available through the day, and the whole property was spotless. Danny and Hillie welcomed us warmly and made the place feel like home. Breakfast was a lovely surprise, with fresh choices and more variety than we expected. And the sangria was the best I’ve ever tried, and I’ve tried plenty. Danny also knows the local hiking routes inside out and can suggest some memorable walks.
