The themed rooms are a favorite of mine, and they're clean and friendly for kids. It's also close to the train station, so you can get to Sol station and the main tourist area.

We booked because of the good reviews, but this was nowhere near worth the price I paid. From the US, I paid $250 a night online. When I checked prices again in Spain, it was renting for $75 a night. My first tip is to use a VPN because they take advantage of Americans. The room felt like a kid's bedroom from the 1980s, the TV didn't work, and the beds were awful. Our family of five could barely fit, even though we're thin, not fat Americans. We had to take turns standing up in the room. I'll post pictures later. Parking was a joke too. I was driving a Citroen C4, and even though I'd parked in several garages around Europe, this one was so tiny the car wouldn't fit. My wife and teenage son had to spot me, and we nearly hit the wall. The host suggested backing in. The garage door doesn't stay open long enough to get out, so someone has to stand outside and press the button twice to keep it open. You're 30 minutes from the heart of the city. Street parking doesn't exist, and the other choice is the train station, where you have to hope your car doesn't get towed. That's where we left ours. This is a $50-a-night hotel, and at that price, sure, why not. At $250 a night, absolutely not. There aren't many hotel or Airbnb options in Madrid, unfortunately.

The parking issue is manageable because the train station lot is nearby. The hotel is very well located, the staff were helpful and friendly even when they weren't there in person, and it was exceptionally clean. Great value for money. Our room had plenty of space, but the 135 cm bed felt a little small for two people of average height and weight. The pillow was worse, and kept us from getting a completely good night's sleep. I don't understand why a bed would still come with just one pillow. That's the only improvement I can think of.

The rooms are decent, comfortable, clean, and quiet, and you're close to the commuter train into central Madrid. Parking is tricky because it's right in the center, though that's not the accommodation's fault. I'd suggest renting a parking garage.
