Hotel EO

We were cycling the Camino del Norte and spent a night at Hotel EO. The owner even let us leave our bikes in her front yard and made sure they were locked up safely overnight. She and the staff were so welcoming, and our room was spacious, clean, and had very comfortable beds, with a partial look at the harbor and marina. After a good night’s sleep, we had a nice breakfast with meats, cheeses, yogurt, and pastries. Best of all, there was plenty of strong coffee. We’d highly recommend Hotel EO.

The worst breakfast we had on the Camino Norte. The bread and croissants seemed to be seven days old, there was no toaster or eggs, and the coffee was barely drinkable. Our room and bathroom felt dated, and the window looked straight onto the wall of the neighboring building.

The rooms are very clean and have what you need, though they're small, and the staff are lovely. Breakfast is basically nonexistent, zero stars for that, and they don't serve dinner either. The entrance felt dark and like stepping into a time warp, so it wasn't welcoming when we first arrived. Still, the place did the job. They really should offer breakfast.

We had a lovely balcony where we could sit and relax with a beer, plus a great view over the bay. Most of the fittings seemed modern, but the beds were uncomfortable.
