We were meant to visit for the cherry blossoms, but travel warnings in our region advised against driving because of possible flooding and road closures. With a young child, we didn't want to take that risk. I wasn't asking for a refund, only to move our reservation to another date, even if we missed the blossoms. Booking.com told us there was no problem with changing the dates and said they'd contact Rosa, but she refused the request. She said Booking.com could only change it if there was an orange or red alert. I'm very disappointed by her lack of empathy and good faith. I rarely leave negative reviews, but this was appalling. She chose to keep our money and dash our hopes of going. Her reply was, “Besides keeping your money, if you come back again, we'll give you a free night…” How shameless.

We went in the last week of March, but the cherry trees weren't in bloom. A few days of heavier-than-usual rain had pushed the flowering back. Such a shame.

It's not expensive, but there are some basic problems. The dishes weren't clean and the apartment needs a general cleaning. The single beds are uncomfortable and hard to sleep in, with poor mattresses and box springs. At 1.80 meters long, they need replacing.

The beds may be too short for taller guests, and there's no oven. Still, the place is cozy, spotlessly clean, nicely located, and decorated with care. I'd definitely stay again 🥰🥰

No oven, unfortunately. Otherwise, it's a cozy place with nice decor and all the amenities, and getting there was easy.
