Luis at the Timamfaya gold level restaurant was fantastic 🙏🏼 The staff were so friendly and always happy to accommodate what our family needed, especially at breakfast and dinner. This is a top class family hotel, with everything you need in one location and loads of activities to choose from for everyone. We couldn't fault it, and we'll most certainly be back.

The rooms are clean, bright and unusually large, and the hotel itself is wonderful. We've stayed here three times in the last 2 years. The animation team and children's activities are where it really excels. Fanni, Tim, Elias and the rest were brilliant, and the daily activities are fantastic. The food is good quality, though availability falls short in high season and dishes could be replenished more often. Nighttime entertainment needs improvement.

The food was delicious when we could get some, and the reception staff and room service were lovely. But I'm not sure we'll return after our second visit. The first time, the staff were so attentive and there was an amazing choice of food. This time, dishes ran out and nobody replenished them, so we had to wait or come early and settle for what was left. When we asked about empty dishes, the man cooking bacon and eggs scowled at us each morning. He seemed grumpy and miserable, and there was always a queue. There were no beans, only one toaster, and it took three attempts to get any colour on the bread. Getting a drink was a struggle too. We waited ages and had to flag down or find a waiter. One night I couldn't find anyone to ask until the meal was nearly over, and my Grandson got upset twice because he was thirsty. No one checked whether we were okay or wanted a top up. I don't like running a place down, but upsetting my Grandson and being scowled at for asking about empty dishes ruined the experience for us. Running out of food without replenishing it, or making us chase waiters for drinks, just isn't acceptable. Food and service matter.

The kids club and animation team made this stay especially memorable for our family. They brought so much energy and care to the activities, and our children were happy every day. They kept talking about the team after we left. It felt like the team truly cared about the kids and made each activity fun and meaningful, rather than simply supervising them. Knowing our children were in such caring, enthusiastic and trustworthy hands gave us peace of mind. We could relax and enjoy our holiday more. A heartfelt thank you for the lovely memories!
