The reception team were really friendly and helpful, and there’s a pool, tennis courts and a mini mart on site. Our self-catering villa had two bedrooms, a walk-in shower and bidet, two ovens, a hob, microwave, fridge freezer and a separate fridge. It was set up well outside too, with extending sunshades at the front, two loungers, four chairs and a table. Inside there was a sofa, another seat, a table and four chairs, plus a washing machine and drying rack.

The grounds are clean and nicely kept, and the bungalows are spacious and clean too. They do feel very dated, though, like they’ve been left in the 1960s. Also, watch out for the extra €25 air con charge, which wasn’t mentioned until after we signed for the accommodation.

The staff are always smiling, friendly and helpful, and we absolutely loved our week here. Our clean, modern bungalow had a large front terrace with two loungers and a table and chairs in the shade. The small living area had a TV and a comfy sofa, and there were two bedrooms, one double and one single, both with plenty of storage. The modern kitchen was well equipped with a double oven, fridge freezer, microwave, coffee maker, toaster, plenty of crockery, glasses and utensils. The bathroom had a toilet, bidet, single basin and shower, but no bath. There was also a hair dryer and iron, and cleaning with fresh towels was provided every two days. The shared pool was being renovated during our stay and was due to reopen at the end of June 24. You can pick up water, biscuits and ice cream at the little shop in reception, and the local Spar by the harbour is about a five minute walk for bigger grocery shops.
