We really enjoyed our stay. The lobby is beautiful and spacious, the room had a sea view, and housekeeping did a great job. Tea and coffee were complimentary, and fruit and a bottle of water were left every other day. The food was tasty with plenty of choice, and the pool area was nice. It took about 30-40 minutes to get to Playa Blanca. The entertainment acts, including Abba and Queen, weren't inspiring, sorry. Better entertainment could make this an excellent hotel. The Pilates class was good, though we kept doing the same exercises. January wasn't warm enough for me to try aquarobics, so we played mini golf and French boules on cloudy days.

A lovely hotel, mostly with an older crowd. They’re getting a refresh this year. It’s an easy walk to the lighthouse, a bit farther to Flamingo Beach and the harbour. There are three great restaurants just outside the lobby, and a sports bar across the road. The bus into the centre is great. Staff are lovely. The entertainment is aimed more at older guests too, but I’d recommend the hotel. We chose bed and breakfast because we like to wander around in the evenings.

We had a good stay in a great location, with good service and varied, tasty food. The pools and sun loungers were clean, though cleanliness elsewhere could have been better. The big problem was our premium room: there were lots of cockroaches. They sprayed for them, but it didn’t fix things. We kept finding bugs every day, even in the bed. If you can overlook that, the rest was nice.

The hotel is lovely, spacious, peaceful and well run, with great food and drinks and brilliant staff. A glass of sparkling wine with breakfast is hard to beat. It’s farther along the marina walk than most places, which helps keep it peaceful. Bus 30 takes you to the centre in under 20 minutes for €1:40 each, and there are some lovely restaurants within walking distance.
