Villa Burgao

We'd be very happy to come back. The caretaker was easy to contact on WhatsApp and really friendly. The villa's cozy decor made it feel like home, and it had good private parking for a full-sized vehicle behind a large swing gate. The kitchen was adequate, and the pantry was very nice, with a good washing machine and plenty of room to dry clothes indoors. The garden was spectacular and well kept, with a wonderful range of local plants, especially cacti. As an early riser, I was greeted by the scent of ylang ylang each morning, and there's a nice private pool too. We came mainly to scuba dive, and the shore, local shops, and stylish restaurants were an easy walk away. The guest bedroom beds were too small for my unusual frame. I'm 6'6" and 250 lbs. It took me a while to realize I needed to leave the window open at night, and I needed a sleep mask and earplugs to sleep well. Those minor discomforts were offset by the garden and pool. Next time, though, I'd steal the master bedroom from my daughters.
