Palmeras Garden

There’s a small supermarket next door and a bar serving snacks and meals at very good prices. Entertainment runs a few times a week, with a good atmosphere and friendly staff. We’ve just returned from a week in this beautiful, peaceful spot. Every staff member was friendly, from reception and cleaners to the pool bar team and groundsman. The accommodation was spacious, clean and well presented, with lovely views. We’d definitely come back.

We had a lovely week with our 10-year-old grandson and slept very well and comfortably. The complex was very quiet, and the weather was good for that time of year. We stayed from 28 December for a week. The apartments were clean and spacious, with excellent TV and Wi-Fi and some English-language channels. I would have liked the bedding changed, and towards the end our bins weren’t emptied. Reception staff were excellent, friendly and spoke very good English. They gave us all the bus route information, and the bus stop is nearby. We hired bikes for five days and could get around much more easily. There are a few bars close by, though others are a good walk away. We had a lovely day shopping in town with our Christmas money. The pool bar lady could come across as quite sharp at times. We remembered her from a few years ago and she hadn’t changed. The on-site shop was very basic and could have had a better selection of essentials. We’ll return.

There are only 50 apartments on site, so it never gets too busy, and everyone on staff has been friendly and helpful. We’re on day five of a seven-night break, staying in a bright, spacious premium apartment on the first floor with all the essentials for self-catering. There’s a small shop on site, and buses make it easy to get into town for plenty of shops and places to eat. Oasis Marina Bay, near the Rubicon shopping centre, is worth a visit. The little bar on site serves good food, and the pool is lovely with plenty of sunbeds and a small bar. There are also a few nice restaurants just up the road, especially Luna. It’s ideal for the peaceful break we wanted. The airport transfer takes a bit longer, but we felt it was worth it to stay somewhere less busy.

Our receptionist, Celia, made sure we had everything we needed for a carefree holiday. We stayed here in mid October 2025, and the apartment was clean, tidy and stocked with what we needed for self-catering. The pool was clean, with plenty of sunbeds and umbrellas. It’s a 25-minute walk to the heart of Playa Blanca, where there’s a great choice of bars and restaurants. Thoroughly recommended!
