There’s a spacious, enclosed terrace with a pool and a view of the volcanic hill, which is easy to climb in the morning. It feels completely private. The apartment also has a large terrace off the first-floor entrance, with views of distant towns and volcanic hills. There’s an open garage space underneath and a private parking space. Inside, it’s bright and clean, with two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a huge living room and a kitchen that’s large enough. There are two terraces and a private entrance. The apartment is fenced and spacious, and the owners respond quickly. It’s a good distance from the city and nearby beaches. In short, wonderful.

The electrical problems made this a really upsetting stay. A small fire started, and two of our chargers caught fire too. If we hadn't been there, it could have been much more serious. We got no compensation. We couldn't cook properly because the problems kept happening, and food went to waste. We lost two chargers, had days with no internet or TV, and only two of the six outdoor lights worked. The toaster kept short-circuiting, and the house's exterior plaster was damaged. There were cockroaches on the kitchen furniture, damaged bathroom furniture, and a rusty washing machine. The oven seal had been patched with the wrong glue, which gave off an unbearable smell when we cooked. The barbecue had no tools for lighting a fire, and the pool wasn't warm at all in the last few days, presumably because of the electrical issues. We came looking for peace and quiet and got the opposite. No compensation at all. A disgrace.
