We’ve been to Villa Qura twice now, and I can see us coming back again. The gated community is peaceful, and the villa itself is lovely and thoughtfully equipped. There’s loads of outdoor room around the well-kept pool, and the pool table kept us entertained when the rare rainy day came along.

Villa Qura was stunning, and Solmar Villas were great to deal with. It was our first holiday as a family of four with two young children, and I was gutted by how it ended up. We won’t be returning, especially after what we paid. One night my wife and I were playing pool, without music or any other noise. At 1 a.m., the neighbour came to the villa and held down the doorbell, then threatened me and called me all sorts of names. She also reported us to the police for playing pool. Our children woke up terrified and thought someone was breaking in. If you want to sit outside after 10 p.m., bear in mind what happened to us. Holidays should be a chance to relax and spend time with the people you love, but that was hard after this. Please take this into account before booking Villa Qura.

You’ll need a car or the number for a local taxi, as Playa Blanca is a drive away.
