Alsol Walhalla

The pool was lovely and warm, and the lifeguard kept a close eye on it while staying friendly. The pool bar gentleman was wonderful too, serving a lovely cold San Miguel in a frozen glass. It was a ten-minute walk to the beach, or about fifteen on the way back. Reception staff were great, the room was sparkling clean, and housekeeping worked so hard. Handwash, shower gel, washing-up liquid, and cloths were provided. The washing machine cost 5 euros for 37 minutes. I've used these machines on lots of holidays, and I'd recommend the hot wash for a really good clean. It got very busy during the Canary Islands weekend, and there weren't any sun loungers available.

There was plenty of room, and the shops and beach were close by. The pool bar was rarely open, though, and there wasn't any entertainment.

The staff were lovely, and the barman and his wife were always smiling and so friendly. We had a fab holiday here last week. The apartments were lovely and very clean, and I'd definitely come back.

We had a lovely stay over New Year's, and the weather was perfect. The staff and cleaners were very nice and helpful. The rooms were cleaned regularly, with towels changed every 2 to 3 days. The pool was heated, though it could have been a bit warmer in winter. It was still adequate. Inflatables and balls weren't allowed unless the pool was empty, when they let us use them. The modern rooms had what we needed for self-catering, including an iron, hair dryer, and most kitchen utensils. It's a lovely little apartment hotel, about a 5-10 minute walk from the beach.
