We had a really good stay here. The owner was so helpful and nothing seemed like too much trouble, and breakfast in the morning was great. It’s about a 40-minute drive from the port, so it worked well for our way to Bilbao. I’d stay again.

We brought our pet and had no issues at all. The host, Txema, kept us updated and was always attentive. The place was comfortable, clean, well located, and breakfast was good too. We’d happily come back and recommend it.

The house was cozy and very clean, and Txema made us feel welcome with his kindness and friendliness. We stayed with our dog during the last week of June. He suggested lots of places to visit, and his own dog was a sweetheart. The municipal swimming pools are just a five-minute walk away.

Txema gave us plenty of ideas for places to see and routes to take, and suggested a nearby campsite where we had a wonderful dinner. The area is beautiful. Our room was great, and breakfast was delicious and filling, with homemade pastries from the village bakery, cornbread, tomato, juice, coffee, and fruit. Thanks so much, Txema. We’ll definitely be back!

Txema is a hospitable host who gave us useful tips for nearby routes and restaurants. The farmhouse is a distinctive, tidy place, with a kitchen residents can use. It’s a great base for exploring western Álava.
