The shared sitting room had comfy seats, and our room looked out onto a flowering inner patio. The room was small, but the bed was very comfortable; the bathroom was spacious, with a bathtub, and the meals were good. Josep is a really kind host, and we loved this little place. Great value for money. You can’t park right outside, though parking is possible on the main street. The church bells ring every 15 minutes, which can be annoying, but they aren’t right by the hotel. It’s in the center of a small village, so that comes with the setting. Book directly with him if you can, since Booking takes 17% in commission from his earnings.

Right in the middle of Poboleda, this is an old building with a well-equipped apartment. It had the kitchen utensils we needed for an overnight stay.

They left us without a place to stay the day before our trip. We already had a reservation, but after we called the day before, they cancelled it and never told us. The customer service was terrible and completely unprofessional. I’ll never book through this site again, and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone. If they want the business to succeed, they need to learn how to handle things properly. Pathetic.

The town and its setting were beautiful, and the service was lovely and friendly. Our room was tidy, with two comfortable beds, and the bathroom was large and clean. I’d gladly stay here again, and highly recommend the apartments or the restaurant.

Breakfast had fruit, coffee, homemade pastries, and an American option, all excellent. We had a lovely three-day stay, and Josep was charming. He let us try his spectacular red wine, then gave us a bottle of a fantastic vintage as we left. The rooms were spacious and very well cared for, and the service was a 10 out of 10. We’ll definitely be back next year.
