Javier was always in touch in case we needed anything, which made everything easy. We stayed at Casa A Marchanta with our dog and had a wonderful time. The house is beautiful, roomy, and has everything you need. Its location works really well for visiting the Rías Baixas, and it’s just a stone’s throw from Pontevedra. I highly recommend it. We stayed for three days and are definitely coming back! It was so peaceful, and the apartment was just for the two of us and our dog. He loved the private, enclosed garden, which mattered since he’s only a year old and would run off otherwise. The house has everything, and Javier, the owner, is such a lovely person. See you again! ❤️

We had a little grassy terrace to ourselves, with sofas for eating or reading under the stars, a few lampposts, and a beautiful centuries-old olive tree for summer shade. The house was well equipped and maintained, tucked away in a quiet rural area off the main road but close to Pontevedra, Areas Beach, Combarro, Sanxenxo, and the Cíes and Ons islands. Highly recommended as a base for visiting the Rías Baixas and taking excursions.

Javier is a dedicated host and was always ready with his best suggestions for enjoying Galician food. The house, Casa a Marchanta, has a privileged spot for exploring the Rías Baixas and its beaches, just 2 km from Combarro, the famous village of granaries overlooking the sea, and a stone’s throw from Pontevedra. Renovated with great care and style from an 18th-century house, its stone and wood give it a welcoming, home-like feel.
