The room was what I’d expect at that price, though it felt small to me. I’m 6'7, so that may be why. The staff were professional, but I only saw them at check-in and check-out. The keys are outdated, and you need them to lock the door from inside.

We wanted a place on the coffee strip, and this hotel suited us. It’s close to shops, restaurants, transport, and Vitoria square old world. There’s good food at the local street retailers around Achuri hotel. The front desk staff at Achuri were always polite and helpful, and the place is clean, tidy, secure, and good value. Hot showers and blackout windows were welcome. It’s one of the most professionally run hotels I’ve stayed in. Some of the shop retailers could take a cue from their friendly service. If you’re here for the scenery, you can’t go wrong at this price.

The bedroom was cramped with three beds, and the bathroom could use a better clean. Still, it did the job for one night. A bonus is that they accept pets 😊
