It’s wonderfully quiet here, a full hour from Barcelona and well away from civilization, with several easy outings nearby that work for children. The play area has garden furniture, toys, a ball, little goalposts and a ping-pong table. There’s also lots of space to eat, both indoors and outside, plus a barbecue. Downstairs there’s a bedroom for three beds and a cot, a bathroom and a washing machine. Upstairs are the kitchen and dining room, a lounge with a TV and HDMI connection, two double rooms, one room with four single beds, two more rooms with twin beds, and three bathrooms, one adapted for accessibility.

Ramon and Alba treated us so well, thank you for everything. We’ve stayed at the house for the second year in a row and hope to come back again. It’s spotless and sits in a very quiet spot surrounded by nature, just right for switching off.

Getting there can be a bit confusing the first time, but follow the owners’ directions and you’ll find it. We were 12 people, and the six bedrooms, big kitchen table, roomy dining area with seats for everyone, and barbecue space made it a good fit. It’s a lovely house in a dreamy setting, peaceful and equipped with what you need for a few days with family or friends. Pets are allowed for an extra fee. We’ll definitely come back.

The place and its surroundings are pleasant, and the setup makes sense for families with kids. Inside, though, it’s very basic. The beds aren’t comfortable, the sofas are old and uncomfortable, and the kitchen utensils are worn out and falling apart. That’s a shame, since keeping the interior in decent condition wouldn’t cost anything.
