The meals and breakfast were sensational, especially the excellent dishes from chef Ana. Lunch and dinner are served, rather than being self-service. Flor and the rest of the staff were wonderful and ready to answer questions or sort out any problems. It’s a perfect place to unwind, with spectacular mountains and lush vegetation. The summer weather is pleasantly mild compared with the sweltering heat of Madrid.

The location and the peace and quiet are the best parts. The food is delicious, and the fireplace in the “lobby” makes a lovely place to sit. There’s a familiar, calm atmosphere that’s ideal for a couple of days away. A few details need attention, though: the vanilla air freshener smell is so strong it’s overwhelming, the room lamps weren’t plugged in, and the hallway door bangs loudly whenever someone comes or goes. That could be uncomfortable for children in the first room. Also, opening the dining room at 10:00 p.m. feels especially late when there are children.

Flor treated us with so much care and attention, and the food was delicious. The mountains, pretty little villages, and peaceful surroundings made for an unforgettable experience. A beautiful, quiet place. Highly recommended, and thanks, Flor, for all your kindness.

Our group had a fantastic Easter break, and we’re already looking forward to coming back. The food was 10 out of 10, the service was outstanding, and the scenery and quiet were breathtaking. They even treated us to cider on that unmatched terrace. Many thanks to Ana, Vero, Flo, and Javi for such a great time.

The staff were so warm and welcoming, and the homemade lunch and dinner were delicious. Breakfast was really generous too, especially the cakes. It’s also a perfect base for some lovely excursions.
