Hotel Rural Palacio de Galceran

The views were lovely, the food was good, and the staff were nice. The red wine was fab too.

The two people who looked after us were incredible, and I can’t think of a word for their service that does them justice. The room was beautiful and spotlessly clean, and the decor throughout is amazing, with lots of shared spaces. I don’t think I’ll forget the smell in the hallway outside our room 😍. It’s such a lovely place to switch off from everything, and every little detail feels carefully looked after. Thank you so much for everything ❤️✨

Mr. Chema’s personal attention made a real difference. He was warm, kind, and ready to help, and made us feel at home. The hotel is in a beautiful spot at the foot of the mountains, peaceful and surrounded by natural beauty. Inside, the decor is tasteful, elegant, and welcoming, and everything was impeccably clean. We also loved the breakfast, which was varied, delicious, and thoughtfully prepared. Free secure parking was another convenient touch. With its location, comfort, and wonderful service, this is a lovely place to relax and enjoy nature. We’d gladly return.

The rooms and house were neat and clean, and the setting is perfect for unwinding. It’s well placed for hiking, cycling, and reaching many of the famous Asturian mountain passes on the Vuelta a España, including Angliru, Cordal, Farrapona, San Lorenzo, and Gamoniteiro. Upstairs, the sloped ceilings mean you have to duck in the bathroom. Those rooms also have almost no reception and no Wi-Fi. The views might have been fantastic if the train tracks weren’t there. Hospitality was outstanding.
