The apartments are in a huge, beautiful glacial valley, and they’re dog friendly too. They made a quiet, peaceful base for exploring the area, with a river close by and a small bar about 100 yards away serving good food. The rustic apartments have fireplaces, are well heated, and have everything needed for cooking. Olga is really nice and helpful, with lots of information about hikes and things to do. Pola de Somiedo, with shops, bars, and restaurants, is about a 10 minute drive. Valle de Lago takes 25 minutes, and the Lagos de Saliencia route starts about 20 minutes away.

Olga really cares about making sure everything feels right and that guests are comfortable. We had a lovely, restful few days at Apartamentos Casa Marcelo. The apartment is cozy and pleasant, with everything we needed. Its location is great for discovering Somiedo Natural Park, with hiking trails, viewpoints, and places to watch birds, bears, and other wildlife easy to reach. A great place to enjoy nature and get to know Somiedo.

We had a wonderful three days at Casa Marcelo. The apartment has a lot of charm, comes with everything we needed, and sits in a beautiful setting. Olga was a delight and stayed attentive the whole time, even with all the fuss we made.

We were very comfortable during our weekend stay. The apartment was spotless and had everything needed for a few days, and it’s in a great spot for exploring the area, especially the Saliencia Lakes. We were glad pets are allowed. A big thank you to Olga for being such a wonderful host. Highly recommended!
