Hotel Valle de Lago

The rooms were really nice, and the hostess was friendly.

We arrived almost at 11:00, after breakfast service was meant to end at 10:30, on our way to hike to Valle del Lago. They kindly served us anyway, and the breakfast was very good and plentiful. There’s free parking too.

We arrived with high expectations, and the stay still surpassed them. This rural hotel is surrounded by nature, with an unbeatable spot for relaxing and going on impressive hikes. Natalia, Mario, and Ana were so kind and looked after us so well that we felt at home. The rooms had everything we needed, were very clean, and had comfortable beds. Breakfast was homemade, including Natalia’s amazing cakes. One of them was big enough to sing “Happy Birthday.” They also serve homemade lunch and dinner. I especially recommend the cod and cachopo. There’s private parking too. We’ll carry you back to Madrid in our hearts. Thank you so much, David and Vera.

We planned to stay one day and ended up staying two. The rooms were clean and perfectly adequate, and we had no complaints. It was so quiet, and the homemade food was delicious. Natalia and Mario were wonderful, charming hosts who made us feel at home, as if we’d known them forever. We loved everything and will definitely come back. You don’t often get treated this well.
