The kitchen and bathrooms at Anita 1 have been redone, but the rest of the apartment feels worn out. There were sheets with holes, uncovered plug sockets, broken light fittings and loose shelves. With hardly any decor, it felt cold and unwelcoming. It could work if you just need somewhere to sleep, but there are much nicer places in PP. We stayed over Christmas, out of season, in Puerto Pollença. The restaurant downstairs was shut, yet maintenance work on 24/26th December sounded like drilling straight into the apartment. The occupied flat above us was noisy too. When they flushed the toilet, it sounded as if water was flooding into our place. I can only imagine how loud it gets when the block is full and the restaurants are open.

The rooms are roomy and clean, and the first-floor apartment had a huge balcony. The views across the beach and harbour are lovely, since the complex sits right beside the beach, opposite the harbour. I’ve stayed here a few times for cycling trips at the start of the year. It’s beginning to look a bit dated, but it’s still a very good place.

The fourth-floor balcony has amazing bay views, and the apartment was in good condition. The walls were so thin I felt like I could hear everything, and the showers took ages to warm up.
