Boutique Hotel Oriola

We cut our stay short by three nights and moved to another hotel. Management didn’t offer compensation or help. The place looked like it had had a few surface updates, but to us it felt more like a budget two-star hostel than a carefully put-together boutique hotel, and the price didn’t make sense for what we got. Sleep was a real problem. The walls are extremely thin, so we heard people in the hall, footsteps on the stairs, doors slamming and locking, and conversations and TV from neighboring rooms. At night, loud, drunk guests sang and shouted, making it impossible to rest or enjoy the holiday. The room, especially the bathroom, didn’t feel as clean as we expected from a “Boutique Hotel.” Water leaked from the shower into the main area. We reported it, but staff seemed barely interested in sorting it out. Breakfast was very basic and poorly presented, more like something at a low-budget hostel. The free coffee came from a standard machine and tasted that way. Proper coffee from a better machine cost extra. With the noise, cleanliness, and breakfast all falling short, I’d look elsewhere unless you’re an exceptionally deep sleeper or don’t care about peace and quiet. There are better options on the island for the same or less money.

We had a really relaxing stay and would love to come back. The staff were so friendly and helpful, and the hotel was clean and comfortable, with a lovely pool area. Our beds were very comfortable and the air conditioning worked well. Breakfast suited us perfectly. The location was great too, about a five-minute walk from a beautiful sandy beach where you can rent kayaks and paddle boards. There are also a few small restaurants and mini markets within an easy walk.

Cala Saint Vincente is such a beautiful place, and Hotel Oriola made a perfect base. The nearest beach is only a two-minute walk away. I’ve just returned from another trip to Cala Saint Vincente, my first time staying here, but it definitely won’t be my last. Gabriella at reception gave us the warmest welcome, and I’m grateful for all her help. The whole team were friendly and went out of their way to make everyone feel at home. Our room had everything we needed for the trip, including air con, a balcony, a fridge freezer, and a comfy bed. Rooms were cleaned daily when needed. The pool was a great place to relax, especially when high winds closed the beaches, and there was never a problem finding a sun lounger. We had breakfast included and recommend adding it to your package. For the price, I think it’s fantastic value. I honestly couldn’t find fault with the hotel, and I wonder if guests who left negative reviews may have started with unrealistic expectations. A big thank you to the team. The staff were all lovely, breakfast was good, and the beautiful sandy cove is about a five-minute walk away. There’s a small pool area with sunbeds that was never crowded, so no sunbed wars 🙂. The hotel and rooms were clean, and the rooms were comfortable. I only missed having a kettle, cups, and tea or coffee in the room. That’s a minor issue, though. I’d recommend staying here.
