Krystal and Shayna made a huge difference to our family holiday. They ran the kids’ club and kept our four children, aged 6 to 11, happy with activities around the hotel. They were fun and patient, and the kids really took to them. Having them in safe hands gave my husband and me some time together, which was worth its weight in gold. The evening shows were enjoyable too, from the kids’ disco to flamenco dancers, karaoke, bingo, singers and magic acts. The bay views are beautiful, there’s direct access to the beach, and the quiet town has a bus stop just five minutes away. Staff were always friendly and helpful. For a 3-star hotel, everything was spotless, rooms were cleaned daily with fresh towels, and there was plenty of choice at breakfast, lunch and dinner. The pool bar snacks were limited to toasties, hot dogs or burgers, which felt more like meals. You had to pay extra for crisps, for example. We didn’t give five stars because of the problems at the start. We’d emailed well ahead to ask for adjoining rooms or rooms together for our family of six, but after arriving at 2 a.m. we were placed on opposite sides of the block. We were told we could move in the morning, then told there were no rooms available. One room had an adjoining room, but we weren’t allowed to use it. My husband’s door wouldn’t lock, and it took two days and repeated requests to get it repaired. The showers sprayed everywhere and flooded the bathroom, though that was fixed quickly. We also had no hot water for two nights, and there was no tea or coffee setup in the room. We still thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely return to hotel Simar. The children miss their friends Shayna and Krystal. Thank you for the lovely holiday and memories.

Krystal, who runs the entertainment, was friendly, cheerful and ready to help with holiday questions. The entertainment itself was brilliant, and the quiet area was perfect for relaxing. I had a relaxing trip and made some new friends. The hotel needs an upgrade. There’s no kettle in the room, so you have to rent one. The food was poor, never warm, and the same at lunch and dinner every day. There are steps to all the beaches, so it’s not a suitable spot if you have limited mobility.

Krystal was the highlight of the holiday. She was the only animation staff member I saw, and she was amazing at her job. She ran around the disco bar trying to entertain everyone, with a big smile and such a friendly attitude. The only night she wasn’t there was Wednesday, presumably her day off. Huge thanks to her. Without her, honestly, the holiday would have been ruined. We spent seven nights all-inclusive. Last year we stayed at the hotel next door, Don Pedro, and it was fantastic, so we thought we’d try this one. To be honest, it was the biggest mistake of my life. The beds were horrible, and my back still hurt a week later. The bar and restaurant staff were sort of friendly. The location was absolutely fantastic, with amazing peace, quiet and views.

The location is lovely, and we’d return for that. There are a couple of beaches, plenty of fish to spot with a snorkel, and well-kept grounds despite all the steps. The pool was clean, the loungers looked new, and the large hotel has some nice features. Staff were friendly, and Krystal, the evening entertainer, was fun and lovely. There are only a couple of restaurants, but they’re mostly good. Local goats visit at night, too. Buses to Pollensa run regularly, and a taxi to Port de Pollensa costs about €15, or €12 to Pollensa, which has a nice Sunday market. We went for eight all-inclusive days from 20 May 2026, and the food was terrible. I mostly lived on salad or ate out. Fruit options were basic, mostly melon, with no platters of kiwi, grapes or strawberries, and there weren’t decent pastries. Lunch and dinner were much the same, with chicken legs or wings and some fish as the main choices. The food was often cold or lukewarm, and there were plenty of flies. Meals seemed aimed more at continental tastes, and there wasn’t much variety. Breakfast was set out around 7, but we weren’t allowed to eat until 8. On our last morning, at 7:15, we were only allowed a drink or bread with ham or cheese, even though the rest of the breakfast was ready. A woman with young children was refused a pastry or toast, and staff were quite rude to her. The pool bar served snacks from 11 to 12 and 3 to 6, but the choices were just a burger, hot dog or toastie. No fruit, salad, pizza or even sandwiches. You can always find something, but it’s a lot to pay to end up eating only salad or chips. I’d read mixed reviews before going and wish we hadn’t booked all-inclusive. The food was well below average.

It’s a shame the hotels here aren’t better, given how beautiful the location is. People I spoke with at the neighboring Globales hotel weren’t happy either, and none of the guests I talked to thought their stay was perfect. Some were more disappointed than others. I suspect many of the positive reviews are fake. Our room had constant noise and a strange smell, and the poor bed was no good even for one night. Light came through the hallway door because it didn’t seal. The environment felt unhealthy, and there were shortcomings everywhere. Food from the kitchen was repetitive and ordinary, and plates were often dirty. It seemed to me they were cutting corners on maintenance and other things. I’d rather have decent accommodation without unnecessary extras. Here, I couldn’t relax with the noise, poor bed and unhealthy feel. The staff didn’t seem to care, and there was no way to contact Globales management. They take your money, give you substandard service, then that’s it.
