Hotel Eolo

The location is handy, breakfast buffet is good, and the clean rooms have nice air conditioning. The catch is how tiny the rooms are. With two suitcases it was hard to walk around at all. Traffic in the stairwell and outside could be noisy, and the twin beds roll around easily. We appreciated having bike storage, though that room was packed too. Good value for the location, and we'd stay again, but only with one carry-on-sized bag. The rooms are just small.

The food was the best part, easily the best Italian in Puerto Pollenca. Mohamed looked after us, and he was one of the funniest, best waiters we've had. He definitely deserves a pay rise. Brillant restaurant.

The rooms aren't plush, but they're adequate, and the price is reasonable. Add air conditioning, friendly staff and an excellent hotel restaurant, and this gets five stars by my rating system. It's across from an amazing beach, with cyclists constantly riding past and more than six bike shops in the neighborhood. One of the best cycling hotels on the planet!

The breakfast, happy hour and pizzas were great, and the reception and waiting staff were fabulous. The location is great too. But the room was probably the smallest we've ever stayed in. Maybe fine for a night or two, but across four nights we had to take turns moving around, and my partner could barely fit in the shower. Washing your legs was out of the question. The balcony was spacious and nice, but being so close to street level made it very noisy.
