Porqueres

The pool was clean, a good size, and kept up with a weekly cleaning. It gets natural shade in the morning and evening, and moving the two parasols gave us a comfortable shady spot in the afternoon too. The garden has sunny areas as well as shade under the trees, and the house has lots of places to sit, both covered and out in the open. We loved our stay at this peaceful finca in Mallorca. It’s tucked among trees and woods, with a special calm about it. The layout feels compact but still gives you plenty of room, and the interior is cosy and as clean and cared for as the outside. Wi-Fi worked well all through the house and garden. It’s well placed for a quiet getaway, while Pollença, Alcúdia beach, restaurants, and shops are only a short drive away. The kitchen has what you need to cook, though basics like spices, soap, and paper towels are worth checking when you arrive, and you may need to bring some along. The access road is unpaved and can seem a little adventurous at first. Keep going even when it looks like there’s nothing ahead, and the property comes into view. The owner and real estate agent were reliable and easy to communicate with. We felt looked after from the start, and would happily return for another peaceful break.
