We paid €1100 for six nights in October 2025, when Portvil managed the place. With three kids aged 8 and under, we thought it was great value and appreciated the spacious property, big patio, and 8x4m pool. The outdoor area is excellent. Indoors is fine for the price, but don’t expect a luxury feel, a modern kitchen, or Netflix. It’s a traditional Mallorquin finca, stone-built with basic furniture, hand-painted tiles, and small recessed windows. The roof terrace is closed off. The pool area worked really well for the kids, and was still just about warm enough in October. It was easy to keep an eye on them, the surrounding tiles weren’t slippery, and there’s an outdoor bathroom with a hot shower. That bathroom is much bigger and nicer than the upstairs one inside. There’s a huge garden with various trees and plenty of gravel parking, but the usable play and sunbathing space is the lawn beside the pool. The rest is very rocky, so it’s not somewhere you’d want kids kicking a ball around or playing tag. We had three very wet nights during storm Alice, with torrential rain and thunderstorms. The power tripped three times, but we got it back by resetting the breaker. The listing photos are accurate and the kitchen is adequately equipped. We’d read an earlier review just before the trip and it worried us unnecessarily. There’s a small patch of peeling plaster on the living room ceiling and some on the outdoor bathroom ceiling. The pool pump makes some noise, but we didn’t see that as a problem. At night, the bush insects are much louder. The finca is secluded, with no immediate view from nearby properties, though there’s another rental villa on one side and someone’s home in front. We felt safe enough, but the garden boundary is just hedges and bushes with plenty of gaps. We never saw anyone on the driveway, which only leads to this property. Getting there takes care. The lanes are very tight, with two narrow pinch points between brick walls, so our first drive in the dark was slow. By day two we were used to them. The rocky, muddy driveway entrance is also tight, made worse by neighbours parking outside their gate and blocking some turning space. Our Peugeot 2008 fit, but I wouldn’t want a much wider car. A 9-seat van or taxi might not get through, or would need careful manoeuvring and a four-point turn. A few things need attention. The dishwasher needed cleaning and maintenance, and we had to rewash most cutlery, plates, and glasses by hand. Water in the Balearics is very calcified, which is why bottled water is advised, so the dishwasher needed rinse aid and salt before arrival. The place was clean when we got there, but one bed had been missed. That didn’t affect us, though it would matter for six people. The mattresses weren’t great, and you can feel the springs, but we expected that at the least expensive place. There’s a washing machine, though it also needs a clean. Rain gets in around the windows and doors.

We stayed for a week as a group of five. The grounds were lovely, with a clean pool and sun loungers, but the house itself felt very tired. Plaster was crumbling from the walls and ceiling, the furniture was old and musty, and the beds were worn out. The dishes and cookware need replacing too. It was dark throughout, with brown tiles everywhere. I can’t recommend it, especially given the poor value for the price.
