The rooftop views were unbelievable, and the AC kept us comfortable through the hot days. Our room was beautiful and had all the useful things we needed, including a stove, microwave, pots, and pans. The service was outstanding too. We had an amazing stay during our Camino, and I’d definitely stay here again if I come back to Ponferrada.

Waldo was easy to communicate with and helped me find good restaurants. The apartment is in a central spot by the castle and the Camino, and its rooftop deck looks out over the castle. I stayed one night on the Camino and loved the place: new fittings throughout, marble stairs, a big comfortable bed, a kitchen, and views across the city. Truly gorgeous.

The host was incredibly helpful, and the rooftop terrace has a one of a kind view. The apartment really lives up to being called a suite, with a high quality interior. Try to stay more than one night so you can enjoy it properly.

We spent three nights here and had a wonderful time. Monica welcomed us so warmly, showed us around the beautifully maintained facilities, and pointed out some unusual touches and welcome amenities. She also gave us detailed ideas for things to do in Ponferrada and the surrounding area, including places off the beaten track, plus plenty of local restaurant recommendations. The hotel sits in the heart of the historic center, with rooftop views of the Templar Castle and the whole old town. It’s a great base for exploring El Bierzo and its lovely valleys. We’d definitely stay here again when we return. Highly recommended.

Mónica was so kind and always ready to help. The apartment itself is decorated beautifully and has a full range of appliances, with nice extras like milk, water, and coffee. The Rituals toiletries were another thoughtful touch that showed the care put into the place. Easily the accommodation I’d recommend most in Ponferrada.
