Holiday Home El Pajariel

Pedro and Ana have made a home with so many thoughtful touches and comforts. They were incredibly kind and attentive to every detail, and we couldn't be happier with our choice for a four-day stay. The house was clean and well maintained, with everything we needed for leisure and relaxation. The bathrooms were beautiful, the beds comfortable, and there was a wonderful barbecue area and a charming little wine cellar. It has an authentic rural feel that fits beautifully with the natural surroundings and the small village. It’s very close to Ponferrada, so you can disconnect and unwind while still having easy access to explore any part of El Bierzo.

I've stayed at Ana and Pedro's more than once. The first time was in the small house for four, and it was fantastic. The country house is beautiful and decorated with incredible taste. I've also stayed in the large house with my cousins and, another time, with friends. It's spacious, clean, and every little detail has been thought through. There’s a wine cellar with a foosball table, plus a porch with a table and barbecue. Upstairs, there’s an area guests can use where Pedro, a real handyman, has done some amazing things. He even built a little golf course! ⛳ Ana is incredible, and I connected with her right away. Need I say more? 😉 It really feels like a second home.

The setting around El Pajariel is spectacular, with lots of trails for enjoying nature. We spent four wonderful days in a beautiful house that was clearly lovingly cared for. Ana and Pedro are wonderful people who make sure everything is perfect and no detail gets missed. Their kindness and hospitality were the best part of the stay. We stayed 10 days in August at Casa Pajariel II and felt right at home. Ana and Pedro were absolutely lovely and always willing to help with anything. There’s a play area, mini-golf, and a barbecue with a small wooden table where it’s perfect to relax in the evenings under the solar lights. The village is tiny but has a special charm, and Ponferrada is just 10 minutes away.
