We’re already thinking about our next visit, even though we’re just wrapping up our second stay this year. Since 2012, we’ve returned a couple of times a year and love this little family-run hotel and its popular local restaurant. We come for the peace and comfort: spacious, lovely rooms, good food and breakfast, and a beautiful pool. Reading for a few hours under an olive tree is one of our favorite things to do. The building feels both modern and elegant. The team always tries to make our stay the best it can be. We tend to choose rooms in the new building, though the suite in the tower is super too.

We found the area around the hotel excellent for exploring, and the property itself is peaceful, set along the Muga River and the via verde. Our room was spacious and quiet, with a design that somehow feels both modern and ancient. The infinity pool is lovely for a dip, though more shade or some umbrellas would be welcome. Outside, the restaurant is wonderfully peaceful, away from traffic but close enough to hear the river. It’s the sort of spot where you can sit for ages. Inside, it’s a beautifully appointed historic space. The hotel feels relaxed and family-run while still being professional. Ask for something and they’ll happily find a way. Its restaurant draws people from the region, so breakfast and lunch are calm, while dinner can get quite busy in high season. We didn’t have lunch there. The breakfast buffet is quite large, and you can order kitchen items too. The menu ranges from tapas to a fairly full selection of game meats cooked on the grill and slow-cooked regional dishes.

We stayed in the new building and had a huge room with a lovely garden facing the river. The location is beautiful, the restaurant is nice, and the whole place is so calm. We just loved it.

Tucked among olive groves, this quaint little hotel is just right for a relaxing weekend. We had a spacious room with great views and a lovely jacuzzi. The nearby walking areas are peaceful and soul-filling. The restaurant served excellent food made with local products, and the service was really good too. We definitely recommend it.
