The beds were extremely comfortable, and I fell asleep quickly. Some of the blankets and pillow covers had holes, though, and you have to put the comforter on the bed yourself. The room was better than I'd expected from the other reviews. The bathroom sink was tiny, and the bathroom itself was far too small. Its door had no handle for closing or locking, and there was no room for hygiene products, so it needs at least a couple of little shelves. The light switches were conveniently placed by each bed. There was AC, a TV, and a heater.

The one good thing is the central Madrid location, within walking distance of all the famous landmarks. The property was hard to find, with no proper signs, just small printed labels on the doorbells. All the rooms are on the 4th floor, which was tiring and inconvenient, and they only tell you this in a message after booking. The narrow bathrooms were quite dirty, and we saw mold on the shower curtains. The windows couldn't be opened because there are exhausts at the back of the building. We also had constant trouble with the door keys and keyholes, which need repair. The place is low quality, uncomfortable, and inconvenient. In Spain's summer heat, they should provide proper AC, but theirs didn't cool the room enough, and staff just shrugged when we raised it. They were unresponsive and ignored our concerns and complaints after taking our money before we even stayed. There are better places for a reasonable price.

The receptionist knew nothing about cancellations or service, and we ended up storming out. The AC couldn't be turned off and only blew hot air, even though it was 60-70 degrees outside in November. The stairs were like a slip-and-slide, there was no elevator, and the rooms were on the 4th floor. Worst hotel I've ever stayed in.

Good price and an excellent location. The room is very basic but does the job. Cleaning could be better.
