We had fantastic views over the bay from our room, and the area around the hotel is beautiful. The staff were attentive and friendly. It was a wonderful find, and just right for a peaceful, traditional stay.

A decent breakfast, and clean, good-sized rooms. It’s worth paying a little more for a room with the double jacuzzi or a suite overlooking the sea. This small hotel has a beach-chic feel, and the underappreciated town has two stunning beaches that are mostly empty. Well worth a visit.

The location was perfect, just a short walk to the beach and to the best bar and restaurant in town, Os Vellos. We loved staying at Viento del Norte and only wished we could have stayed longer. Our room was sunny, comfortable, beautiful and charming, with great beds. Breakfast was amazing, and the owner was so friendly and helpful. Pilar, thank you so much for taking us to the train station. Dorothy.

The hostess was very pleasant with us. The place was clean and functional, and worked well as a base for visiting the ortigueira area.
