After three weeks travelling around Spain, I had my worst accommodation experience at Os Arcos apartments. The bed was crawling with bed bugs, and I woke around midnight covered in very itchy bites.

I woke up covered in bites and found a live bed bug underneath my pillow. The beds were crawling with them.

After the long walk from Sarria, this apartment was a lovely home for our family of three. It’s right in the center of Portomarin, overlooking the main street, and just a minute from Igrexa de San Xoan, restaurants, groceries, and shops. There was plenty of room, including a living and dining area, and the well-stocked kitchen let us cook a simple dinner for a change from eating out every day. Moitas grazas, Natalia!

Extra meat, and the staff were friendly!

The apartment was huge and had everything we needed. It’s next to the church and town center, with restaurants, supermarkets, banks, and everything else nearby. Any problems were sorted out right away.
