The team made us feel so comfortable, and the hospitality was amazing. Stylish place, reasonable price.

The staff were friendly and made everything run smoothly. My room was small, but clean and well kept, which suited my recent business trip. The food was decent, though there wasn’t much choice, especially for anyone with dietary restrictions. More variety would’ve been appreciated.

The room was comfortable, quiet, and dark, with a fantastic view. The beds were very comfortable too, although they were two singles pushed together and made up separately. There were enough power sockets, plus Type A USB ports by the bed. Parking is underground and costs €19 a night, with fairly spacious spots. Street parking is extremely difficult. We hadn’t spotted the car park entrance, so a staff member came out and walked us right to our space, which was big enough even for our large 4 x 4. The staff were probably the friendliest and most helpful we’ve ever encountered, nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast and dinner were both good and reasonably priced. It’s a handy boutique hotel, quite close to the Brittany Ferry berth. Easy enough to find if you follow the yellow signs. We’d very likely stay again, especially if we could try the tasting menu.

Our room faced the canal and was wonderfully quiet. The staff were amazing and friendly, and went above and beyond to help with what we needed. The rooms were spacious, clean, and well renovated. Lots of bars and supermarkets nearby too. Lovely stay at the Gran Hotel Bilbao!
