The staff were the best part, especially Rocío and David, whose kindness and attentiveness made sure we had what we needed. We spent five days there with my hiking club and had a lovely stay. The hostel is cozy, the facilities are spotless, and the natural surroundings are stunning. The food was excellent, too.

The setting is hard to beat, right by the Guazalamanco waterfall, La Bolera reservoir, and Guazalamanco river. We had a fantastic time, with exciting activities that were a lot of fun. Javi, Eloy, and Juan were especially friendly. The rooms could use attention, though: the window was partly broken, the shower curtain was torn, and the bed frame had split wood. I’m just short of giving five stars. Thanks for everything, and I hope this review helps you keep the good atmosphere going.

We got unlucky with the weather, but the organizers kept things moving with activities and made sure there was always something active to do. Their communication and willingness to help were great. I took a group of my 7th-grade students to a language immersion camp run by Aventuorcio, and we all had a fantastic experience. The staff were welcoming, attentive, and quick to handle whatever came up. Lunch was just as agreed, and the portions were generous enough that even the hungriest students could usually have seconds. The counselors were especially good with the children, showing real energy and consideration. They spoke English throughout and worked hard to make the camp fun and memorable. Highly recommended.

The food was extremely poor, and several classmates had digestive problems. We were there for a university research trip, and some of them couldn’t do their internships because of it. Staff treatment was careless and appalling overall. At meals, we had to clear our own plates and tables while staff watched. We were also told to strip the beds ourselves, even bunks nobody had used, and fold the blankets back onto the beds without washing them. People who only removed the sheets they’d slept on were made to strip the other beds too. The rooms were awful: a narrow hallway crammed with three bunk beds, six beds in all, with hardly any space to move and some loose frames. The mattresses were dusty and not properly cleaned. My partner is allergic to mites and reacted to them. The blankets were just as bad or worse, with leaves and other things stuck to them. In the bathrooms, a mirror shelf was about to fall, and the shower doors wouldn’t close properly. Schedules and activities were badly managed. Meals started half an hour late, and we had to leave the rooms before the agreed time, delaying all the practical work. The location itself is perfect, except for the access road, which is full of potholes. The larger ones could surely be filled with compacted earth.
