Melia Sierra Nevada

Delfi’s recommendation of the red tuna was spot on, from the tartare to the combination with burrata. It was fresh, intense, perfectly prepared, and very, very good. We rarely meet someone with such warm, open, positive energy. Delfi did more than serve us, she shaped the whole evening. Her “so, so, so good” became our running joke with every dish. The food was the highlight of a truly special evening, and the atmosphere was perfect for watching football. We had the Real Madrid vs. Bayern game with 4-5 Spanish beers, then topped it off with Bayern winning 2-1 in Spain. Couldn’t have been a better night. A big thank you to Delfi. People like her make a difference.

The staff were so thoughtful and attentive throughout our week, and the kids club and spa were both a hit with us. We were travelling with a baby and our four-year-old, and the hotel felt cosy and was very clean. We had breakfast and dinner included, with loads to choose from, including seafood, cheeses and meat. The cakes and pastries were freshly baked each day and were great. I still can’t believe there’s a hotel of this quality right on the slopes. We’re really happy with our stay and will definitely come back.

We came for a few days of late-season skiing last week and had a wonderful stay. The spa and pool were highlights. At Alma, Delfi was enthusiastic and gave us fantastic recommendations. The tuna was the freshest I’ve ever tasted.

After a few days of skiing, I had a massage at YHI spa and left feeling completely relaxed. Sara worked out all the knots and tailored the treatment to what I needed. Her massage skills are exquisite. Probably the best massage I’ve ever had, and I highly recommend it.
