That little post-ski hot chocolate and pastry treat was a real highlight on our last visit, and I hope they bring it back. Even without it this time, we loved staying here. The staff are lovely, the Terrace Bar is great, and you can rent skis at the hotel and head straight out. The chalet-style place has excellent rooms, food, and service. Everything felt top-notch.

You can park, check in, pick up a lift pass at reception, rent gear in the building, and be skiing within 15 minutes. The hotel sits at the top of the town chairlift, with proper ski-in, ski-out access and a private shuttle to the square. Its traditional alpine look is cozy, the recently refreshed rooms have what you need, and the small spa is lovely. We also found the restaurants and bars pleasant, the food solid, and half board good value. Service varied quite a bit. Some team members were impeccable, while others seemed cold or bothered. We waited about 30 minutes in the bar without anyone coming over, the dinner host barely acknowledged us, and a receptionist kept interrupting our conversation to take unrelated calls. Nothing huge, but it left us wondering. It remains a favorite in Sierra Nevada and the original five-star place in town. A bit of team training would make it perfect.

This is more of a relaxed, low-key kind of luxury than an ostentatious five-star hotel. It feels comfortable to come back to after a day on the slopes, and for the price I think it’s a great hotel. The location is right at the top of the resort, directly on the slopes, with an easy chairlift ride down to the main Pradollano area. I’ve stayed at Vincci Seleccion Rymaykiyya several times and have always been happy with the service. The food is excellent too. Thanks to Marta for being so friendly to us during our last stay in December of last year.

The hardest part of our stay was the noise from the occupants above us on two nights. My family couldn’t sleep until 2 AM, and reception first told us they couldn’t control those units. No one had mentioned this when we booked. At €1,250 per night, we expected quiet and comfort, and I wouldn’t stay here again. We also had to spend 30 minutes finding parking ourselves when we arrived, despite asking beforehand and getting no real help. The hotel and room smelled unpleasantly damp and old. The property feels dated, with basic bathrooms and just one tiny elevator that takes a long time. It didn’t feel like a premium hotel. The food disappointed us as well. We waited an hour for lounge snacks, and the nachos came without proper guacamole. The à la carte restaurant shares an open space with the buffet, so the atmosphere is noisy. Ski-in, ski-out access is handy, but there are no proper boot dryers, a serious omission for a ski hotel.

The food, accommodation, and service were all great. Just know that getting back to the hotel means taking the chairlift out of town, and it gets very busy at the end of the ski day. There’s a shuttle bus you can call, though you might have to wait for it.
