The food at the mountain restaurant was a highlight for us. Each meal brought something tasty, from Cerdanya organic meat, sausages, broth and trinxats to vegetables from the garden, fruit and desserts made with vegetables. It was lovely seeing the kids eat greens they’d helped pick in the garden. We also loved the panoramic jacuzzi and its mountain views, even with our 19-month-old son along. We stayed in an apartment, which felt like a hotel room with a living room, kitchen and fridge. It was simple and comfortable, a good setup with children, and we slept really well. There are daily outings and activities, plus the Follet Cerdà club for children aged two and up, where parents can leave them to play or join activities while they relax at the spa. We went to Molí de Salt on our own and were really impressed. Our attempt at Malniu lake was harder: with no mountain experience, we got a little lost before reaching the refuge, tired legs and backs and all. Cerdanya ecoresort worked well for a few days with family, as a couple, or even alone. We had a wonderful stay and will probably be back next year.
