Olga and Kim are what made my stay so extraordinary. The rooms are beautiful, and Las Moradas del Unicornio feels like a magical place. Whether you're visiting Pubol to unwind or on a spiritual quest, I'd highly recommend treating yourself to a stay here. I'm going back in 2015 and can't wait.

It has a creepy Madame Tussauds-meets-Bates Motel feel. Eerie, sinister, gloomy, and a bit treacherous.

Having a garden and pool all to ourselves was a first for us. This isn't a hotel in the usual sense, since they rent out part of their home, which makes the stay feel quite different. The decor is one of a kind, and Olga and Quim gave excellent service. We'll definitely come back.

The breakfast was the one letdown. For the price of a night, just coffee, orange juice, and packaged pastries felt poor in both choice and amount, so we went out to eat. The rest was great. The house has a calm, quiet feel throughout, and every room and corner seems peaceful. Kim and Olga are charming, attentive hosts, and the place feels mystical and magical.

Pubol and the nearby villages feel frozen in time, with old houses and cobblestone streets. The place itself is charming, and the rooms are spacious and open-plan, with some offering a terrace or access to a garden. The price is high, but I think the experience is worth it, especially if you want to surprise someone you love.
