Parking was easy to find right outside and it's free, so arriving by car is straightforward. You don't need to drive into the old cobbled streets. The hostel is also right in the center of Puebla de Sanabria, on the edge of the historic quarter, with shops nearby. It was an ideal base for exploring on foot. The place feels charming and welcoming, with tasteful decor. Our room was comfortable and quiet, the service was good, and we had everything we needed.

We spent three nights here. The room was exceptionally comfortable, and the bathroom was spotless and well equipped, with thoughtful touches like bathrobes. The location is unbeatable. There's no parking, but finding a space a few meters away was easy. Breakfast isn't offered, though there's a café across the street where the woman working was incredibly friendly. The mattresses were worn and very uncomfortable, sinking so much that getting out of bed was a struggle. Also, there are quite a few steps to the entrance and up to the first floor, which could be difficult for older guests or anyone with reduced mobility. If stairs aren't a problem, it's perfect.

It's in a very good location, though from my room I looked onto a private terrace and house fronts. The room was clean and the shower was great. The TV had interference or no signal and wouldn't work, and one of the two bathroom lights was out. I only spoke with the owner at check-in to pay, so I can't really comment on her.
